Design begins on St. John Catholic Elementary School

December 3, 2009

TWFP has been awarded architectural and engineering design of St. John Catholic Elementary School by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. Located in the same neighbourhood community as our Belmont office, the existing St. John school will be rebuilt while retaining portions of the original 1929 building in the new design.

Our firm has considerable experience with the facility. Beyond our past engineering work and a building-condition assessment completed in 2008, TWFP stewards volunteer at St. John school through the StrongStart program, helping students develop their literacy skills.

The rebuilt school is anticipated to open in the fall of 2011.
