Our engineers will ensure that you comply with both the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments (Regulation 851), and any Orders issued by the Ontario Ministry of Labour , as well as making sure that your existing equipment or process complies with current codes and standards. We have worked with many manufacturing customers, including automotive, textile, pharmaceutical, food, and beverage plants.
Led by our Industrial Safety Services discipline, TWFP's in-house designers—including specialists in structural, mechanical, electrical, automation, and environmental engineering—will review your equipment and process systems. Our primary goal is to ensure that your equipment and systems work properly and that you fully understand the important safety issues that could affect your employees and business operations.

Applicable codes and standards used in our safety review work include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ontario Building, Electrical, and Fire codes
- Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations on environmental exposure (i.e. MSDS sheets), etc.
- Ontario Regulation 851 for Industrial Establishments
- Canadian Standards Association standards (robots, presses, machine guarding, lockout of hazardous energy, welding, signage, etc.)
- National Fire Protection Association standards
- American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards that may be applicable to specific equipment and for which no CSA standards exist
- Other safety standards (TSSA, EN, ISO, ASTM, etc.) that may be applicable for your operations
