WG Johnson Pool
The Walter Fedy Partnership provided architectural and engineering services to the City of Cambridge for additions and renovations to the 30-year-old W.G. Johnson Centre. In a participative design process that included representatives from the active seniors, swimmers, and fitness groups, the design evolved into a very functional and lively community centre. Changes included a new multi-purpose room and exercise centre, upgrades for the pool envelope and infrastructure to repair problems associated with the vapour barrier around the pool enclosure, life safety, sprinkler systems and improved filtration.
